Dear Reader,
So much to talk about this month; I'm just going to jump right in. Did you know the JohnHart “Campus” in La Crescenta, located at 2428 Foothill Blvd., just opened? Why am I so excited about this announcement? First, it's great to be home. Not as if I was miles away in the La Canada office, but there is a certain sense of comfort coming back to my hometown of La Crescenta. Secondly, I'm excited for you, but why? The Campus is designed with the community in mind. A full-time barista is on staff at our very own Grind Brew Bar, serving coffee, cappuccinos, and teas, and the best part of this is it's FREE any time of day, Monday thru Friday from 7:30 am to 3:45 pm. Enjoy a lounge-like atmosphere and some free wi-fi. Have a small community group and need a space to meet? The Campus has you covered. Enjoy the upstairs terrace or the downstairs library. The perfect arrangement for small-scale group meetings. All you need to do is reach out to me, and I'll get things arranged for you. Come have coffee at the Campus. I promise no more paws on the counter.
The community appears to be the theme this month, and tis the season. Yes, I realize Fall is only a few weeks old, but I am a planner and need to chat with you about Christmas events for a moment. Specifically the La Crescenta Christmas Tree Lighting. Highly unlikely there will be a full-blown ceremony this year. However, we will involve the community more than ever. Planning topics include letters to Santa, photos with Santa, ornament decorating/donating, tree fundraiser, and even holiday music nights. Keep up to date on the "La Crescenta Christmas Tree Lighting" Facebook page.
Fall real estate news. Leading real estate experts expect the market to remain strong well into 2022. There was a slight increase in rates in late September. Depending on the week, it appears there is a bit more inventory on the market. This small increase is bringing those buyers that have been sitting on the fence back into the fray. Don’t fall into the belief the 4th quarter is a bad time to sell. In fact, the holiday season is one of the best times to sell and buy. Feel free to call and ask me why.
Respectfully,
Robbyn Battles
